Two of Toronto’s finest DJs – DJ P-PLUS & DJ LISSA MONET have teamed up to take lovers and ex lovers on a musical journey with “love letters & broken hearts”. Focusing on the joy of love, the anguish of heart break and the songs that emotionally affect us.
Whats a summer without a bbq? It wouldn’t have made any sense trying to have a bbq and try to keep the kids away cause they’d come out anyways. So this time around we made it a full day event. We had kids running around in the day time and adults once the sun went down. We had community officials invest, the support of parents and residents.
So it wasn’t a fluke. We had a following we could build on. We had made a connection with a good enough portion of TORONTO’s party goers that we could continue on with hosting parties through out the city.
Note: Not sure if you’ve noticed the change in quality of the photos that have been posted. As photographer, I think that using my own events to practice and develop my skill was a great way to learn. I don’t think I’m anything special, but i do believe i don’t deserved to be over looked.

It was only right to turn our signature event to into an on going event. IT WAS ONLY RIGHT. Our forth time around we needed a bigger and better venue: The Docks, better known as the Sound Academy, was the only venue that could hold all the people that wanted to party with us and still it wasn’t enough space. The capacity of the venue was 1100 people and by 11pm we were already at 900 people inside.
This was May2008, right on time for summer.
We barely succeeded at brining the first one to life, so with the intention of keeping things going we brought it back for a second time and to establish ourselves. We really wanted to kill any rumours that the success of out first one was a fluke.
This was our introduction to TORONTO. It was our first 19+ event and we were very thankful for all those who came out to support. It was a crazy headache leading up to this night. 3 Prior to the date of this party the club we initially booked lost its liquor licence. We had to get our acts together to get things back on track to make sure that we would be able to deliver a great night.
Again, thanks for coming out.
